7th Grade Persuasive Writing Assessment TipsHave you been assigned a 'Persuasive Essay Topic' for your sixth grade Persuasive Writing Assessment? You'll have to do your research and make the best of it. The benefit is that if you write an essay well, it will be scored as average or better by the end of the year.As with all first-time essays, you should prepare well for your sixth grade Persuasive Essay topic and spend time reading. If you've already worked on English-language topics, such as Social Studies, Math, or Science, chances are good that you'll be able to concentrate on a Persuasive Writing topic. However, some topics require more specialized reading skills.You should find the way people discuss, think, and argue, then incorporate this information into your own thinking. And the actual essay must be a reflection of what you've read and practiced. This is no time to get sloppy! Don't throw out the textbook. These include information, grammar, sentence structure, and proofreading.Make a mental list of key terms and ideas to help you get through your essay. Also, review the concepts in your text book and essay with a pen so you can examine them and include them into your essay.In Seventh Grade essay topics, the essay should consist of three parts: introduction, argument, and conclusion. In case you want to include a glossary or resources, add this at the end of the essay. After you've checked the facts and proofread the essay, you'll be graded for its quality.You should plan to take this lesson or section as many times as you need to complete your grade.
